How our pricing works
Every client has a service profile that defines what they need — the applications, infrastructure, ISP services and support level. We package these into a fixed recurring cost so you know exactly what you are paying each month. There are no surprise bills based on CPU cycles, bandwidth, or API calls.
If your needs change, we adjust the profile. This is the key control for your spend — you decide the level of service, and the cost follows.
Set-up and subscription
Services are billed as a one-off set-up charge followed by a recurring subscription. The set-up covers the initial design, deployment, configuration and testing of your environment. The subscription covers ongoing operation, maintenance, monitoring, backups and support.
Typical client spend ranges from £500 to £30,000 per year, depending on the scope of services — from ISP essentials through to dedicated servers with managed applications.
What drives cost
Our pricing reflects the real costs of providing a personal, managed service:
- Compute and storage resources allocated to your environment
- Time to deploy, configure and integrate your services
- Ongoing management, monitoring and support
- Complexity of the configuration — bespoke requirements take more time to set up and maintain
There are no hidden charges, no affiliate schemes, and no monetisation of your data. The price you see is the price you pay.
Getting a quote
We provide quotes for standard scenarios — ISP packages, application hosting, infrastructure — based on a straightforward conversation about what you need.
For more complex requirements, a consultation fee may apply to properly establish the scope before quoting. This ensures we understand the need fully and can provide an accurate and fair price. The consultation fee is credited against the set-up charge if you proceed.
Payment
We accept payment by card, regular bank transfer, direct debit, and SEPA. Cloudient is UK VAT registered — all prices are quoted exclusive of VAT.
No lock-in
There are no long-term contracts. ISP services are charged at their anniversary and can be cancelled at renewal. There are no charges for transferring domains away or for cancellations.
