When setting up your email, the following settings should be used. Please note the marked recommendations.
Webmail is quick and easy to get you going where email apps are often better integrated and more convenient.
Common Account Settings
- Username [email address]
- Password ***********************
- Webmail https://webmail.[domainname]
- Hostname mail.[domainname]
IMAP Settings
- Authentication Normal password
- SSL/TLS Port 993 (recommended)
- STARTTLS Port 143
- No encryption Port 143 (NOT recommended)
POP3 Settings (NOT recommended)
- Authentication Normal password
- SSL/TLS Port 995 (recommended)
- STARTTLS Port 110
- No encryption Port 110 (NOT recommended)
SMTP Settings
- Authentication Normal password
- SSL/TLS Port 465 (recommended)
- STARTTLS Port 587
- No encryption Port 25 (NOT recommended)
Minimum password requirements
- 8 characters long
- 1 uppercase & 1 lowercase character
- 1 number
